Coral Pipa Amarela shines at the 11th Henrique de Curitiba Choral Singing Week
A stage of excellence
The 11th Curitiba Choral Singing Week brought together some of the leading names in vocal music in a
program of high artistic standards.
In this edition, the festival even featured a special performance by the Sistine Chapel Choir,
coming directly from the Vatican.
Being part of an event of this magnitude is a source of great pride for Dorcas.
Sharing the festival with internationally renowned groups reaffirms the quality of the work
developed by Dorcas in the Music in the Neighborhood project and confirms that our children and teenagers
have a place among the great stages of Brazilian choral music.
Under the direction of conductor Roberto Guimarães, the Pipa Amarela Choir moved the
audience at Capela Santa Maria with a sensitive and diverse repertoire, the result of a
continuous process of dedication, learning, and transformation.
