During the first two months of 2026, the Neighborhood Music Project was in a pre-production phase, focused on organizing and planning the activities scheduled for the year.

During this period, the teaching staff was structured, scholarship students were selected, and classes were organized. In addition, the team planning, the annual schedule, the acquisition of educational and musical materials, the organization of spaces, and the definition of the repertoire were prepared.

This set of actions reaffirms Dorcas’ commitment to transparency, responsibility, and quality.

Through the Neighborhood Music Project, Dorcas has followed the journey of children and teenagers for many years, expanding their horizons through music.

As a result of this work, we celebrate the achievement of six young people who have been admitted to university programs, continuing their education.

To support this new stage, Dorcas has structured pedagogical and institutional support and seeks to enable these young people to work as monitors, combining academic training, income generation, and strengthening ties with the community.

How to support

Dorcas aims to serve 500 children and teenagers daily by 2030.

To make this possible, the organization is working on building its own headquarters on a recently acquired property, which will allow it to expand its capacity.
