In the Neighborhood Music
Project, children and teens develop emotional,
cognitive, and social skills through Choir,
Recorder, and Brass classes.
Activities take place from
Tuesday to Friday, during after-school hours,
creating a safe, creative space full of
discovery.
Music Education
For children ages 4 and up.
Activities include singing, listening,
improvisation, and sound creation, encouraging
expression, autonomy, and artistic sensitivity.
Choir
More than vocal technique,
the choir strengthens bonds.
The rehearsals focus on
breathing, tuning, interpretation, and the power
of music as a means of inclusion and expression.
Recorder
Students develop
coordination, rhythm, breathing, and music
reading from the start, becoming protagonists of
their own learning.
Ensemble Simul
An advanced Recorder group
made up of teens and volunteer teachers.
It promotes cooperation,
responsibility, and performances that inspire
the community.
Brass
Trumpet, Trombone,
Euphonium, and Tuba expand students’ musical
experience and strengthen focus, discipline, and
collective practice.
