3rd Recorder Meeting at
EMBAP/UNESPAR

From July 21st to 24th, the members of Ensemble Simul participated in the 3rd Recorder Meeting at UNESPAR.

The activities were varied, from concerts, lectures, Masterclasses, to participation in the large group that brought together more than a hundred recorder players on stage.

The guest teacher at this meeting, Sibille Rauscher, from Germany, did not hold back words of praise and encouragement for our young musicians who performed at the Masterclass, playing solos or duets.

In addition to the meeting program, she also came to spend an afternoon at Dorcas for another period of individual and group classes.

We would like to thank the team organizing the event and, in a very special way, Professor Sibille, who motivated us to continue on the path of the recorder.

SESC Mesa Brasil Presentation

We were delighted to take part in the SESC Mesa Brasil event on August 31st.

Every week we receive donations from this great partner that helps feed our students.

The brass group and the Pipa Amarela choir performed for representatives of the organizations that receive these donations, as well as for the donors who support this project.

In the Music in the Neighborhood Project, the musical process is understood as a mediation of the possibilities and limitations of each child and teenager, who is a corporeal, sonorous, performative being in constant movement.

In line with this proposal, the show “Dorcas enCanta o Brasil” (Dorcas enChants Brazil) comes to the stage with a lot of joy, bringing a repertoire of Brazilian music that mixes choral singing, recorder and brass instruments.
