Kaue arrived at Dorcas when he was 8 years old. Time passed, he grew up and today he is our monitor, inspiring other Dorcas children who live in the Bonfim neighborhood.
Our dreams give us hope and making them come true is what drives us.
The ingredients to achieve what we dream so much are in the stories we see around us, in the people who inspire us and in the moments we experience.
Presentations
During the year we carried out several educational actions to train audiences in Almirante Tamandaré's public schools.
The Didactic Concerts are performed with various groups from the Música no Bairro (Music in the Neighborhood) Project - choir, brass or flute.
Many of the students who have already been to the schools are happy to return, meet some of their teachers again and perform for them!
It's also a preparation for the bigger presentations.
It's a great time to show off a little bit of what we've been rehearsing!
An Encounter with Bach
Ensemble Simul, one of Dorcas' recorder groups in its Música no Bairro (Music in the Neighborhood) Project, has a repertoire that ranges from early music to baroque and even pop music.
In their presentations with the different recorders, the group integrates movement, dance and theater.
Dorcas students were able to watch the group, as well as students and parents from the São Roque Beneficent Association in Piraquara.
On Sunday, June 2nd, the group will perform at 3pm at Bosque Alemão (German Woods), and you are our guests! Come along!
