| One of the most anticipated dates here at Dorcas is Children's Day week. |

| On that week there were activities such as: trampoline, lots of treats, t-shirt customization, pendants and jewelry making, cooking activities, football championship, competitions, water games, and the children received gifts. |
|
| We had the third Bazaar of Denários (our currency here in Dorcas). Children and teenagers earn their Denarios through the activities carried out. With them they could buy treats, toys, books, hygiene products, clothes, shoes and many other things! |
|
| With in tthe bazaar we develope the power of choice, autonomy, financial education, achievement of dreams… Transformation! |

| It's wonderful to see the joy of the children playing in the courtyard and going through various activity workshops! |

Building Knowledge Project |

| When children and teenagers think of scientists, the image created is usually that of a person in a white coat manipulating laboratory equipment, as the learning they have access to is only conceptual, and the content is unlikely to advance to practice or to the attitudes. |
|
| With this in mind, we adopted the Construindo Saberes (Building Knowledge) Project, a partnership with Itaú Social, which is accented by experts as one of the tools to improve teaching and to make learning more stimulating. |
|
| This project strengthens Dorcas' work in defending and guaranteeing the rights of children and teenagers. It provides intentional and pleasurable activities. It aims to assist in the construction and development of knowledge based on experimental activities that facilitate the teaching-learning process with a focus on social inclusion and preventive actions. |

| Since 2020, we have started a partnership with the Ecumenical Mission Center (ZMÖ – Zentrum für Mission und Ökumene) in Hamburg, Germany. |
|
| On August 29th, exchange student Jonathan arrived at Dorcas, from the city of Lübek, Germany. In that first month, Jonathan had time to adapt and observe. |

Ensemble Simul

| On October 22nd, Ensemble Simul gave a beautiful performance in a very special place – the Bach Oratory in the German Forest (Bosque Alemão). |

| The repertoire includes music from the Renaissance to the present day, and even Bach himself appeared there! |
|
| It was a sunny afternoon with a light, fun and relaxed presentation from our talented young people and teachers! |

| In October, Dorcas Scout Group played an active and enthusiastic role in Jota Joti 2023. The Cubs, Scouts and Seniors demonstrated an exceptional commitment by participating in the activities proposed by the event platform. Activities began on Saturday morning. |

| The day turned out to be a unique experience, where all participants enjoyed themselves to the fullest while getting involved in the activities. |
|
| Jota Joti is the biggest digital scouting event in the world! The proposed challenges encourage integration between scouts with activities carried out over the internet, promoting friendship and global citizenship. |
