| During the month's workshops and devotions we had the opportunity to talk a little about Yellow September. |

| Through conversations, children and teenagers were able to share stories and experiences they had inside and outside Dorcas. |

| The most important thing is that in all workshops we discuss how we can deal with our feelings regarding self-esteem, emotions, including those that can lead to depression. |
|
| Increasing children's awareness and understanding of how we can deal with our emotions is important for them to become healthy adults and empathetic people who care about their mental health and that of others. |
|
| As a result of the workshops, there was the production of motivational posters, interventions in visual arts and dance. |
|
| This month we had a lot of rehearsals, a lot of learning and challenges for the big show that will take place on October 27th. |

| This show will be different, made by our teenagers! |

| We understand that the musical process is a mediation of the possibilities and limitations of each student, who is a corporeal, sonorous, performative being in constant movement. |

| With the name “DiverCidade” (“DiverCity”) we will take the sound universe to the stage with its movement that moves between urban life and nature. |

| In addition to enriching and challenging activities at Dorcas, we also had external activities. |

We started the month with an underwater camp!!, that's right, "AcamLeis”.
Regardless of the intense rain, we ventured along the trails of Mount Horeb with the Scout and Senior Branches. We set up camp, facing difficulties that will certainly become stories to share. |

| We welcomed the prof. Pedro A. B. Fontão and students from the Undergraduate Course in Geography at UFPR, and all Branches learned a lot about Weather and Climate. |

| It was great to see everyone's interest in the subject, as they were able to understand, among other things, how to measure the amount of rain and the ways in which it can affect the neighborhood where they live if it is very intense. |

| On the weekend of the 23rd, in very hot weather, we climbed Morro Anhangava, the Bacaetava Senior Troop began their adventure, bravely facing the 1,420 meters of altitude, and reached the top of what many consider a “school” hill. |

| It was a challenging journey, they ended up tired, but with another mission accomplished! |

| Children and teenagers are setting up an alfajores factory! The intention is to develop entrepreneurship and responsibility from an early age. |

| And with their care and dedication they presented our educators with gifts on their special day. |

| Dorcas Social Service aims to strengthen family ties and complement family and community actions, both in the protection and development of children and adolescents. |

| We provide individual assistance, reception, listening, home visits, registration for enrollment, groups/monthly meetings, among other demands belonging to our role in the SCFV (Construction and Strengthening of Links Service). |
