| This initiative is a true refuge of hope and opportunities for children and teenagers in situations of social vulnerability. Each brick, each dedicated effort represents a step towards a bright future for each of these lives. |

| The support and donations made this dream come true: the works started on June 5th and the court was inaugurated on July 7th. This space will further facilitate the positive impact of Dorcas' work on the lives of these children and teenagers. |

On June 5th we remember World Environment Day. This date motivated us in the preparation of the workshops and in the reflections with the children and teenagers. |
|
| Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle have been the watchwords that inspire us on a daily basis, as sustainability is one of the principles we live by at Dorcas. |
|
In the workshop we worked on what the environment is and its importance for the preservation of humanity.
We had classes on selective collection and the environment, the students were able to give a new use to the “garbage” we produce, we made vases, among other activities.
They also learned about selective collection and its colors! They discovered what we can recycle to take care of our planet!
This is one of the ways in which Dorcas makes a difference. |

| On June 21, we had our monthly meeting with the group “Cuidar de Quem Cuida” (Caring for Caregivers). At this meeting, the theme worked on was “Education these days: Bullying starts at home”. The theme addressed the different forms of bullying that can affect children and teenagers and how, sometimes, this bullying starts at home. |
|
| The aim was to inform and advise parents on how to deal with this type of violence and how to realize that maybe their child is being a victim and help him/her. Thus, they can increasingly contribute to their education and maintenance of their self-esteem. |

| Learning can be a lot of fun and that's what children and teenagers most experience at the Experimenting Workshop, from the Projeto Construindo Saberes (Building Knowledges Project), a partnership with FIA/Itaú Social. |

| The existence of laboratories in schools is expensive and rare, but the practical experience of what happens in the field of science is fundamental for children and teenagers to apprehend knowledge and its contents. |
|
| In “Great Scientists, Small Experiments” we bring students closer to scientific phenomena and their meanings through experiments that use simple materials that can be safely developed by children and teenagers. |

The Senior and Pioneer Branches carried out MutEco* activities and others. Dorcas Scout Group has the support of Missão Aliança. * Joint effort of activities aimed at the environment, carried out by scout groups from all over the country. |

| They went to the Botanical Garden, where they visited the exhibition Native Bees from the Atlantic Forest by artist and scout Birgitte Tummeler, with the aim of implementing our meliponary, which will serve as an educational and environmental model for the served community. |
|
| On the same Saturday, in the afternoon, they went to the residence of the playwright Mario Belino, where the young people were able to do a mini drama workshop. |
|
We would like to share the result of the sales of the bazaar held from June 2nd to 4th.
Total result achieved: BRL 9,438.00
All the money raised will be donated in food for the children and teenagers of Dorcas. |
