| October 11th was a day with games, a special lunch and sweets. After all, Children's Day is for playing, and playing a lot! There was lots of joy here! |

There was a trampoline, inflatable castle, crazy hair, cupcakes, Just Dance, Bubble Snake, a pot of calm, kites, and Gamers Time*.

| * The Denarius Bazaar is a space for financial education, where children and teenagers can shop using their Denarii (our currency here at Dorcas). |

| On October 18th we had our penultimate Denarius Bazaar of 2022! The children were fascinated when they entered the bazaar and there, assisted by a “seller”, they were able to choose clothes, shoes, toys, household items, teddy bears, school supplies, jewelry, hygiene and beauty items, among others. |

| It was an incredible day for the children and teenagers who were able to participate in workshops with different approaches, stimulating the multiplicity of intelligences with lots of fun and creativity! |
|
| There was a cinema with popcorn; a cooking workshop, with delicious cookies; a creation workshop, with cute dolls and wonderful bracelets; metal testing; a board game about the SDGS (Sustainable Development Goals) with our partner Marcelo from Projeto Dá Pra Recriar and workshops on emotional intelligence and professional orientation for our teenagers! |

| We joined the Pink October movement in a special way, by holding our meeting of the mothers' group "Caring for Those Who Care". We talked about the importance of sharing information to promote awareness about breast cancer prevention. |
|
| The psychologist Roze Ziemann was with us, sharing her life experience, who overcame the disease with resilience and faith! |
|
| It was an exchange of valuable experiences and information where the words in the group's final circle were: learning, prevention, hope, faith, testimony, strength and support. We thank Roze for being willing to be with us. |

GED – Dorcas Scout Group at the Highland Games |

| Saturday and Sunday (October 8 and 9), the Bacaetava Senior Troop from GED (our Scout Group) attended the 2nd Highland Games that took place at Anauá Park in Colombo. |

| Approximately 600 young people were gathered in clans, where there was a lot of competition, friendship and spiritual moments. |

Participação do GED no JOTA-JOTI |
|
| On the 15th and 16th of October, another Edition of JOTA-JOTI took place, one of the biggest Scout activities in the world, which already had more than 50,000 participants in Brazil alone! |
|
| In addition, this year we had a differential: the Brazilian JOTA-JOTI was opened to Portuguese-speaking countries! That is, in addition to interacting with young people from other branches, it was also possible to connect with people from other countries! |
|
| Activities were posted on a special platform on the internet, with 10 tasks for the Cubs and 24 tasks for the teams of the other branches, with an interval of one hour between them. The tasks had varied and interactive themes. |
|
| The Cubs and Senior branches of the GED took part. The Cubs did the activity in the afternoon. The Seniors, on the other hand, started at 1pm on Saturday and stayed up until 6am on Sunday at full steam posting their activities on the internet! |

Music in the Neighborhood Concert* |

| * It promotes the musical, aesthetic, sociocultural, cognitive and emotional development of children and adolescents through specific workshops in the field of music. |

| The audience was moved, especially partners, parents, grandparents and guardians. Some of our “musicians” often say that we are the DORCAS FAMILY. We experienced during the concert, as well as at other times, what it really is to BE the Dorcas Family. |
