On August 12th, we had a meeting called "Quem Cuida de Mim" (Who looks after me). Dorcas and caregivers approached a very important issue: Sexual Education. - Sex vs Sexuality?
- Why is it so difficult to talk about it?
- Who speaks?
- Pay attention to attitudes!
- What words to use?
- Always respond!

The conversation was full of learning, and breaking of "myths and taboos" in order to prepare them to talk to their children, nephews and grandchildren.
We had a super quiz with prizes and the participants won a certificate! |

| In August and September, children and adolescents are expanding their knowledge about sexuality in a very playful and fun way: through fun and games. |
|
| The activities take place during the workshop "Violence: We Know How to Say NO!", supported by the Lutheran Foundation for Diaconia, with the aim of promoting adequate training in the area of sexuality, as a way of preventing violence and child sexual abuse. |
|
| In addition, inform and empower them to practice reporting any form of abuse. |

| On Sunday, August 21, we had the Dorcas services. They were special moments, marked by stories. |
|
| The prelude was to the sound of Sonata Nº 3 in C major by Arcangelo Corelli, played by former Dorcas student Adriano da Silva Trarbach and his colleague from the University of Hamburg, Mariana Gomes. |

| The praise was performed by the Dorcas worship group, led by Music Professor Roberto Guimarães dos Santos. |

| It was a celebratory service with the participation of Coral Pipa Amarela and the Brass and Percussion Group. We are grateful to Pastor Egon and Professor Rúbia who were present at Dorcas for 13 years. |

Awakening the Pleasure of Reading |

| Wonderful stories told by Nádia Opalinski, from Leconto, echoed at Dorcas, which captivated children and adolescents. |

| By the end of the year we will have five stories serving all Dorcas audiences, with the aim of awakening the pleasure of reading. |
|
| We started another new cycle of the Dorcas Robotics Workshop, in which we encourage critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and digital knowledge, through the construction of robots, electrical circuits, with games and discoveries. |
|
Toothbrushes for everyone at Dorcas!
We reinforce the need for oral hygiene for children and adolescents. |
|
Every child and teenager has their own toothbrush and a case to keep it here at Dorcas.
This is education and health! |

The Dorcas Scout Group carried out very cool activities.
There was a picnic for the Wolf Cubs Section, with games and treats. |

The Scout Section received a visit from Tropa 4, which belongs to São Luiz Gonzaga Scout Group, carrying out an activity of construction and use of bamboo catapults.
The Senior Section prepared the equipment for the next camp. |

| In August we had the workshop “How to Sell a Pen” with André Perdomo, from Estude Vendas, providing teenagers with an overview of sales strategies. |
|
