| The rocket we made was to participate in the Brazilian Rocket Show. The Brazilian Astronomy and Astronautics Olympiad is an annual event held by the Brazilian Astronomical Society, in which any school in Brazil can participate. |

| A predefined construction model is followed, but changes must be made to some features to achieve greater distances. |
|
| Our rocket traveled 82 meters. The goal is to build a rocket that will fly as far as possible. |

On Sunday, May 15th, the Dorcas Scout Group
participated in the 2022 Fraternity Games. |

| Approximately 3,600 young people, leaders and children came together for a day full of activities and friendship-building! |
|
| Many Scout Leaders put in the effort, resulting in a wonderful day, full of experiences, that our young people and children will always remember! |

| On May 17th we had the Dorcas Peace Race 2022, here in the Bonfim neighborhood, bringing together 250 participants. |

| Our starting point was at the Merinha bazaar, where we began the program with a speech by the Pedagogical Coordinator, Doris Buchweitz, about the objective of the race and with the presentation of the brass group. |

Each stage of the race was monitored with the active participation of Dorcas educators.
The entire Dorcas warmed up today by running for PEACE in Bonfim! This movement mobilizes and shows the community that PEACE is possible! Each one of us is an agent of PEACE in this world! Children, teenagers and adults ran saying NO to violence and YES to PEACE! A beautiful day!! |

| Reality calls us to continue the fight! Educate to prevent violence from childhood. Teach children to protect their bodies, and to respect the bodies of others! |
|
Every day is a day to protect children and adolescents from sexual violence, and Brazil has a special day to remind us of this.
The Network for the Protection of People in Situations of Violence works tirelessly throughout the year to defend the rights of children and adolescents, and on the 18th, everyone joins forces to draw society's attention to this problem. |
|
We know that this is an issue that should be remembered every day and in these 22 years of mobilization to combat child abuse, we have already reached many municipalities in the country.

| On the evening of May 18th, we had a discussion group at Dorcas about Violence Against Women, with a group of students from the Mackenzie Medical School. |
|
| Some Dorcas mothers were invited to participate in this moment of exchanging information about the different types of violence, where to seek help, reflections on our society and the formation of a support network of women who support other women. |

Meeting with “Who Cares for Me” |

| We brought to reflection the need for care, watering and fertilizing the seed that is each child and adolescent we serve and their responsibility as families. |
|
| We took the opportunity to form our “Taking Care of Those Who Care” group with our psychologist, Jéssica, talking about parenting styles and their characteristics, we played a team game with prizes for the winning team. |
|
| Each family that came received a food kit, hat and scarf, and we also had a raffle for blankets. It was a precious time to bond with the families. |

Visit to the City of Ponta Grossa |

| | On Sunday, May 29th, we at Dorcas had an intense social and cultural exchange in the city of Ponta Grossa. |
|
| Early in the morning we were warmly welcomed by the members of the Bom Pastor Lutheran Church with an excellent breakfast. |
|
| Then we performed with the flute, choir and brass groups in the service. |
|
| We ended this morning with a delicious lunch prepared with great care by the Bom Pastor Community. |
|
| In the afternoon we participated in the choir meeting promoted by the Municipal Department of Culture of Ponta Grossa. |
|
| It was an afternoon of intense musical and emotional exchange. We returned full of energy and joy! We are very excited for the next one!!!! |
