| November was a very busy month at Dorcas, we had many different activities! |

On November 7th there were the celebration services (morning and evening) for the 25th anniversary of the Dorcas Project at Comunidade do Redentor, our founder and mentor community, affiliated to IECLB.
Besides the presentation of the worship group, Sirlei and Dudu told about the meaning of Dorcas in their lives.
Dorcas has been on the road for a long time and much ground has been left behind. Nothing, however, has been walked alone. There have always been people who understood that the best journey is the one done together! |

* November 6th - Cleaning of Barigui River *
The GED, Senior Branch, together with the NGO Novo Encanto and the Secretary of the Environment of Almirante Tamandaré, PR, promoted a joint effort to clean the Barigui river, in the stretch that passes within the neighborhood Bonfim, where our young people live.
430 kg of garbage were removed, including light bulbs, PET bottles, TVs, and much more!
In the afternoon there was an activity for the Little Wolf branch with the participation of members of Ciclus Ambiental.
These activities mark the beginning of an environmental education project in Bairro Bonfim, which is an old demand from the community.
Scouting in the formation of responsible citizenship!

JIU + LAB Academy Partnership |
|
In October we started a partnership with academy JIU + LAB.
Together with teacher Diogo, we are assisting 10 students who are taken to the academy on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Jiu-Jitsu classes, where besides self-defense, they develop mutual respect, motor coordination, concentration, and have a lot of fun! |

"Music in the Neighborhood" Project |

About two years after the pandemic, the first performance of the Dorcas Project's choir and brass took place at the Deutsche Schule Curitiba.
And with much joy and animation the students got into the swing of the Maquerule*. |
|
| * Maquerule is a piece of music from the pacific region of Colombia. This region, on the Colombian coast, has a lot of influence from the African ethnic groups. Maquerule tells the story of a baker who almost got ruined selling on credit, but soon after started to sell only cash. |

| Dental Care

Children and teenagers from Dorcas often have toothache.
On November 18, 3 children were assisted by Dr. Ana Lúcia Guimarães who, with great care, professionalism, and good humor, treated their pain and provided orientation on oral hygiene. |
|
The União Brasileira dos Trovadores - Curitiba Section, grants the kids from the Juventrova Program the Juventrova accent Trophy..
In 2021 the contest was held on November 20 and the winner was student Kamille Ribas. She has participated in the workshops of Trovas given by the troubadour Madalena Ferrante Pizzatto, in the Dorcas Project, since she was 9 years old, today she is 13. |

| On November 22nd we had the closing of the Young Hour Project, for groups G3 and G4*, which was carried out by our Psychology interns from Tuiuti University. |
|
| * Groups by age - G3: from 12 to 15 incomplete years; G4: from 15 to 17 years. |
|
| There were 13 meetings with a lot of bonding, super important content passed in a fun and interactive way! |
|
Among the subjects discussed were self-identity, licit and illicit drug use, sexuality, professions...
We thank you for the excellent work done with commitment and responsibility. |

Dorcas participated in the walk for awareness and prevention about violence, abuse, and child sexual exploitation.

| * The Dorcas Project is part of the Defense Team Program, a strategy of the Department of Education and Culture of Almirante Tamandaré, which has become a community movement that places children and teenagers as a priority. The goal is to strengthen the protection network for the prevention and confrontation of violence against children and adolescents. |
