She then gives us a very inspiring and motivating testimony: “I have sewn a few times for the presentations - bags for the flutes, sometimes costumes, shorts for the boys. I have also sewn smocks for the people who work there, tablecloths, dishcloths. Lately, I have been asked to make clothes for the dolls. I think about the children who will play with the dolls and I take care of the clothes so that they can take them off and change them. I am very happy to be able to help in some way at Dorcas. This project is a blessing and everyone should help, because Dorcas is a blessing in the lives of so many people. I always talk about the project to people. I do what I can willingly, since I can't contribute money, while my health allows, I'll do what I can.”

Ana Paula da Luz Machado is 14 years old, has been participating in the Dorcas project for two years, has a shy demeanor and a big smile on her face. From the beginning, she showed interest in helping Dorcas, ready and willing to do the tasks assigned to her with care and affection. She started as a volunteer and today she works once a week as a monitor in the Dorcas educational project.
 

“I joined the Dorcas Project in 2019, starting my musical practice with flute and singing lessons with the Pipa Amarela Group. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, when I participated in the knowledge workshop, I felt like helping the educator in her development, and today, to my delight, I am a monitor in the same workshop! I am grateful for everything this wonderful Project has done in my life. This Project has taught me a lot, and continues to teach me every day that passes. The way they help families, children and teenagers, with a lot of dedication and love, is beautiful and inexplicable. Through the Dorcas Project, I began to believe that dreams are never impossible, you just have to go after them to achieve them.”
