| We started last month with the "Peace Run - Corrida da Paz 2019" on May 4th. It took place for the second time this year and is not only intended to send a signal against violence in the Bonfim district, but also to raise awareness of health through exercise. We would like to thank all participants and supporters! Special thanks go to the "Supermarket Francieli", who sponsored our great T-shirts! |

| On Sunday, May 5th, the Dorcas scouts took part in the "XXVII Jogos da Fraternidade 2019", a large meeting of various scout groups |

| On May 11th we were invited to the "Shop&Go Bazar", a market with a special focus on local and sustainable goods. In addition to a successful performance by the flute group, we also had the opportunity to present our project and even set up a small second-hand stand with books and records! |
|
| On the same Saturday, May 11th, the senior scout group met with a Pa-Kua team in Curitiba. The group takes part in international competitions and gave our young people an introduction to the various disciplines. An exciting experience, especially when they were allowed to try their hand at bow and arrow! |

| And on May 23rd we once again honored this month's birthday children together in the project. Even the rain couldn't spoil our party mood! |

| The "Lobinhos", our youngest scout group, the "Wolves", made a special trip to the Egyptian Museum "Museu Egípcio Rosa Cruz" on Saturday, May 25th. |
|
| In May it was that time again! On May 28th, the "Bazar dos Denários" was back! And so the children and young people were once again able to choose their favorite items from a colorful selection of desirable items. Not so easy, because they had the fictitious money they had earned since March through good behavior and daily attendance at the store. So the decisions had to be made carefully! |

| On the same day, the children and young people also took part in a series of different activities. This time, for example, Dóris painted T-shirts! |

| Another special workshop on this day was led by Alvaro Posselt. He came to our project to introduce us to the world of "Haiku", a Japanese form of poetry! |

| And finally, on May 31st, we took some young people on a trip to the office to get them an identity card! |
