| On April 13th and 15th we held our first charity flea market of the year in the Comunidade do Redentor parish. We sold a lot and reached our sales target! But of course our Dorcas second-hand shop in the city center continues to open its doors to shoppers |

| On April 11th we had another special visitor. Neil Thomson, conductor of the "Philharmonic Orchestra of the State of Goiás", was with us with many words of encouragement and support for our students and teachers. The musician Wim Belgian was also there. They were both invited by Edward Matkin, the director of the "Alegro Music Association", in which Dorcas is also involved. | On April 17, a lecture was held at the Bazar do Dorcas, the second-hand shop in the neighboring Bonfim district, about self-esteem and self-confidence with the psychologist Eva Drielly |

| And Easter was a celebration at Dorcas with lots of treats! Many thanks to the employees of "PwC Brasil", "Mesa Brasil SESC" and "Craft Multimodal" for this! |

| On Saturday, April 20th, our brass band performed as part of the "Alegro Music Association"'s participation in the Easter program at the Ópera de Arame concert hall! We also used the day to take a walk in the Parque das Pedreiras! All in all, a complete success |

| Another performance followed on April 24th. Our brass band visited one of the companies supporting the "Delta Cable" project. It was a very nice afternoon with music and a pleasant get-together between our children and young people, managers and employees of the company. And the next presentation was not long in coming |

| On April 26th, our students were able to take part in the staff meeting of our sponsoring company "Plotter Racks" with their music. |

| On Saturday, April 27th, the "Pioneers Group" was founded by our scouts, for participants aged 18 to 21. The aim is to support positive identity and character development so that members can take what they have learned back to their community. Rafael and Alexandre are the first two graduates of the "Senior Group" (15 to 18 years old) to move on to the "Pioneers" |

| We ended this month with the service of Dorcas in the Comunidade do Redentor parish. On April 28th, both in the morning and in the evening, the "Pipa Amarela" choir, the flute students and brass players showed what they have already achieved this year. A successful end to April! |
