The scouts also resumed their work on March 9th!
And this year the number of participants has even doubled!
The group currently consists of almost 70 children and young people,
so that there is even a lack of volunteers to to accept further
registrations from the waiting list.
We are therefore looking for new helpers! |

On March 12th, the first award ceremony of this year
of our internal poetry competition took place.

The brass band of the Dorcas music project "Música no Bairro" was allowed to open the
second seminar of the "Faculty of Psychology, Education and Health"
at the University of the State of Paraná on March 14th.
It was again a very special performance for the children!

| On the same Thursday, a craft course was held in the project's second-hand shop for interested people in the neighborhood. The Bazar do Dorcas is located in the Bonfim district, where our students also live with their families. |

The first meeting of volunteers and employees in 2019 took place on March 22nd.
The two psychologists Marcos and Jeanine Meier were there, and spoke to us about the topic
"Behavioral education of socially vulnerable children". |

| At the "Bazar dos Denários" on March 26th, the students were able to exchange the fictitious money they earned through good behavior for a large selection of great things for the first time this year. There was a lot of buying, a lot of playing and a lot of crafting. As always, it was great fun |

| On the same day, we also received a visit from eight volunteers who are taking part in the "Norte/Sul - Germany/Brazil" exchange program. Yvonne Hügele from the "Gustav-Adolf-Werk" (GAW) from Wüttemberg was also there and looked at our project |

| At the end of the month, on March 28th, we celebrated this month's birthdays together! |

On the last Saturday of the month, March 30th, the brass band finally had a performance!
They were allowed to play at the "25th Regional Scout Congress" in the auditorium of the Technical University of Paraná to great applause. Afterwards, the organizers invited them for a snack. |
